Job description:
You will be responsible for conducting due diligence research into subjects based in Europe, Russia and Central Asia. The role will involve media, internet and database research, telephone enquiries and detailed report drafting. Position to start mid July.

Principal duties:
The main function of this role is to operate the Helpdesk during the day/night shift. The role requires a high level of organisation, initiative and enterprise as well as compassion and understanding. The Helpdesk provides remote, but integral support to our Clients and our Workers at all times of day or night. It is often the first point of contact that either the client or the worker has with Milestone and it is therefore a vital role within the company. The main areas of responsibility are:
Providing support to the Client and the worker;
Responding to all queries raised by either Clients or Workers, either directly or by informing the relevant members of the Milestone team (e.g. Account Managers, Finance etc)
Anticipating issues raised by Clients or Co-workers (troubleshooting);
Meeting all Helpdesk service levels (speed of response, nature of response etc);
Maintaining accurate records (electronic and paper) of Clients and Co-workers;
Liaising with sub-contractors and 3rd party suppliers.
Candidate Attributes:
The candidate must be bilingual (Polish/English), preferably have a degree, be highly organised, show initiative and be able to solve problems. It is vital that the candidate can operate under pressure and to tight timelines, yet with compassion and calmness.
The role will operate out of our head office in central London. Role Summary: You are responsible for ensuring that all transactions are entered correctly on the online systems of the banks as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to avoid possible delays with payouts.
Mani Duties and Responsibilities
- Must speak fluent Polish and English
- Accurate data entry of customers' transaction information to online systems of the banks
- Checking transactions to ensure that necessary information is present for every transaction
- Scheduling transactions being processed according to the balances available and managing distribution of the funds between different accounts to facilitate timely payout of all transactions
- Monitoring and acting upon records of complaints, amendments and cancellations in the system relating to Bank Transfers; liasing with the investigations departments of the international banks involved, as well as with sending agents and customers when necessary.
- Authorising refunds of the cancelled transactions, filing relevant documents and updating the system as appropriate
- Maintaining and updating a number of databases
- Daily reporting on the accounts/transactions balances

The main function of the UK Admin & Support Department is to provide Reception, Administrative and Operational Support to the 1st Contact Group. Polish-speaking live-in au pair plus (120 pounds per week)
We are looking for a live-in Au Pair +, to take care of our 6-year old twins when they are not at school (one boy: Mathias, and one girl: Clemence) and to do some housework. We live in London (Battersea SW11), between Clapham Junction (train station) and Clapham North (tube station), and near the ELT school of English in Clapham Old Town. This is a lively neighbourhood, with shops, restaurants and bars, and a market on Northcote Road.
Salary is £120 per week for 35 hours; food and accommodation is provided, which includes a large furnished room with TV and WiFi. There are lots of opportunities in the area to earn extra money (babysitting, cleaning).
Our au pair needs to be:
– Polish-speaking, as our children have grown up bilingual French and Polish
– 18 years old at a minimum
– responsible, energetic and pro-active
– fun-loving and happy to play with and talk a lot with the children (must be willing to talk and read to the children in Polish)
– speaking basic English at least
– non-smoker
– able to work 7:30-9:00am and 3:30-7:30 pm Monday to Friday – we can be more flexible with the remaining hours of house work
– plus up to 2 nights of baby-sitting per week (sometimes at the week-end)
– able to work full-time during half-term holidays (extra hours during holiday weeks will be paid at babysitting rates of £7 per hour)

Duties include: taking care of the children before and after school, taking them to and from school (we live 5 minutes away from the school), taking them to the park, giving them their bath in the evenings. Reading and talking to the children in Polish, helping them to read, write and count in Polish while you are with them.
